After finishing her studies in Leuven, Karen studied and lived in Paris for 2 years. She started her career at PwC where she worked more than 6 years for corporate clients and private equity investors undertaking M&A transactions in all types of sectors. In 2022, a great opportunity at Brussels Airport came along to jump to the other side of the table, from the advisor to the investor side. Brussels Airport is a vibrant microcosmos with more than 300 companies in the ecosystem and therefore the perfect testbed for innovation. Karen is leading Strategy and M&A/Corporate Venturing at Brussels Airport. Investments vary from real estate acquisitions to corporate venture capital.
