Co-creation and introducing new concepts and innovative services in organizations and communities run like a thread in Thomas's professional career. He was active in the health care sector as a lean coach, program manager, and change manager.
In June 2018, he took a decisive turn in his career. Thomas quit his job and decided to dedicate his life to clean rivers.
What started with a 10-min cleanup became a global movement of 240 000 people cleaning up 3,5mio kg of river-waste in 100 countries.
To tackle the problem at its source, Thomas & his team developed the Clean River Model, a holistic approach empowering people around the world to make their river plastic-free.
His ambition is to validate the model this year and scale it to 1000 rivers by 2050.
