Thierry Geerts

Thierry Geerts has been leading Google in Belgium and Luxembourg since 2011. Graduating as a Solvay Business Engineer from the VUB, he started his career as a manager in an industrial laundry company before making the transition to the media business. He held various leadership roles at VUM, the publisher of De Standaard and Het Nieuwsblad. Mr. Geerts authored two books - ‘Digitalis’ and ‘Homo Digitalis’ in which he outlined the contours of a digital world and its impact on society and individuals.
