Steven Van Passel

Prof. dr. Steven Van Passel is Vice-Rector Valorisation and Development at the University of Antwerp and Professor of Environmental Economics. He also coordinates the research group Environmental Economics - EnvEcon at the Department of Engineering Management at the University of Antwerp. His research focuses on the economic and sustainability assessment of clean technologies and agricultural systems, as well as the interaction between economics, technology, and ecology. As an environmental economist, he is interested in the conceptual and methodological aspects of sustainability assessment, the valuation of environmental and energy technologies, and the economic impact of climate change.
