Sarah Moens

Head of the Business School at Thomas More

Sarah Moens is a Space Law expert and the head of the Business School with over 2400 students at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Belgium.
She has been passionate about outer space all her life. 

She is regularly invited as a speaker and guest lecturer at national and international conferences and universities in Belgium and Europe and interviewed by the press and for podcasts (including by BBC Radio, the Belgian national television broadcaster VRT, the Belgian business newspapers De Tijd and L’Echo, Het Financieele Dagblad).
 
After studying law at Ghent University (Belgium), where she graduated magna cum laude, she pursued an additional master's degree in "Droit des Activités Spatiales et des Télécommunications" at Université Paris XI (France). 

Since 2016, she has been a member of the Board of the European Centre for Space Law (ECSL) in Paris, a European non-profit organization established under the auspices of the European Space Agency (ESA) with the aim of promoting knowledge of space law. 

Her favorite quote is 'Per Aspera Ad Astra' or 'To the stars through difficulties' (Seneca).
