Jan Hollez

As a serial entrepreneur and pioneer in the food technology industry, Jan Hollez is passionate about leveraging technology to revolutionize the way restaurants and food service providers operate. He is the founder of two successful startups in the food tech space: Posios, a cloud-based point-of-sale system for the hospitality industry, and Deliverect, a SaaS platform that integrates food delivery platforms with restaurant point-of-sale systems. Deliverect has become a unicorn company valued at over €1 billion and is used by thousands of restaurants worldwide, including major chains such as Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell. He cares as much about the small restaurants though, as in his opinion, they are the glue of our society.     

His expertise lies in developing innovative solutions that streamline restaurant operations and enhance the customer experience. He is committed to using cutting-edge technology to address the most pressing challenges facing the food industry, from increasing efficiency and reducing waste to improving sustainability and promoting healthier eating. And above all, he ensures restaurants can thrive.

As a leader in the Belgian startup scene, he is also involved in various mentorship and advisory roles, helping to guide and support other aspiring entrepreneurs in the region. He believes that by working together, we can create a more dynamic, innovative, and sustainable future. For his commitment, he was awarded ICT Personality of the Year 2022.
