Cédric Vermeulen is a generalist with strong expertise in Technology, Business, and Finance. Being able to work at the intersection of these three areas in order to drive efficiency and productivity is what gives him energy. He has an entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset that is focused on making tangible impact. He developed strong expertise in the hard sciences by earning his bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Engineering, which is a program that combines classical engineering studies with Business, Economics, and Finance. Cédric further developed his technical knowledge by spending 4 years at Jacobs Engineering in the Energy, Chemicals, and Resources industry where he focused on managing several cross-functional engineering teams in order to develop new products and technologies for companies like ArcelorMittal, Borealis, BP, INEOS, and Total Energies. 

In his current role at Plug and Play, he’s fostering the growth of groundbreaking ideas into sustainable businesses. He is passionate about nurturing early-stage and growth startups by offering them the mentorship, resources, and the network they need to flourish.
