Christian Claussen

Christian Claussen is a General Partner with Ventech a pioneering global early-stage venture capital firm with a strong digital focus. He looks back on 25 years of hands-on innovation financing and has personally managed VC-investments into 27 start-ups with an aggregated investment of more than €150m. 15 of which have been profitably exited while 6 companies are still successfully pursuing their growth strategies. Moreover, Christian has actively participated in in raising 5 Venture Capital funds totalling an of AUM €800m and has developed a profound understanding of organizing and running Venture Capital Management organisations. He currently represents Ventech in the boards of Ventech’s portfolio companies Picanova, Speexx, Codasip, TrustYou and Microoled.

Prior to joining the VC Industry in 1998, Christian spent 10 years in Europe's Telecommunications Industry and holds an EE MSc. with the Technical University of Karlsruhe (D), University of Essex (Colchester/UK) and Ecole Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Electronique et Electrotechnique (Paris/F).
